Mark 5:24-34 (NLT)

[24] Jesus went with him, and the crowd thronged behind. [25] And there was a woman in the crowd who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years. [26] She had suffered a great deal from many doctors through the years and had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she was worse. [27] She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched the fringe of his robe. [28] For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his clothing, I will be healed.” [29] Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel that she had been healed! [30] Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” [31] His disciples said to him, “All this crowd is pressing around you. How can you ask, ‘Who touched me?’” [32] But he kept on looking around to see who had done it. [33] Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and told him what she had done. [34] And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. You have been healed.”

Romans 10:17 (NLT)
Yet faith comes from listening to this message of good news—the Good News about Christ.
James 2:26 (NLT)
Just as the body is dead without a spirit, so also faith is dead without good deeds.
It is faith that will enable you to push through.

Jeremiah 29:13 (NLT)
If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me.
Faith enabled the woman with the issue of blood to push through & touch Jesus. Her culture said it was forbidden for a woman bleeding to go near anyone.
God is always wanting us to push through, hang on, believe, be bold, deny the flesh, press on.
The devil, bad attitudes, religion & other people will try to stop you.
Self-pity & faith don’t mix. God doesn’t respond to self-pity, He does respond to faith.
Hebrews 11:1 (NLT)
What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.

Philippians 3:12-14 (NLT)
I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be.  No, dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven.

The past is gone. Trust God now no matter what. I’m gonna move forward in faith.

Faith will draw the power of God. Vs 30.  Virtue flowed: Jesus & the woman knew it.  Jesus operated in the power of the same Holy Spirit we now have when He was on Earth. The same Holy Spirit that raised Him from the dead is now available to & operating in us! By faith, the power, the virtue of God flows.

Ephesians 2:8 (NIV)
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God…

God’s Word is established forever. The same Spirit dwells in us.

John 14:12 (NLT)
“The truth is, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.
Faith will get God’s attention and attendance.
Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)
So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
Belief determines behavior. Faith without works is dead. Faith doesn’t mean an easy life.
We can have the audacity to pray for people and believe for them to be healed. No pressure to perform, let God move if He wants to. Have faith in God & His Word.
When we start something in faith, we can’t finish it in the flesh. We have to dig in again, & press through to touch God again.
