John 1:1-18

1 In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God.
God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him.
The Word gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.

God sent a man, John the Baptist, to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony. John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light. The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.

10 He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. 11 He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. 12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 13 They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

14 So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.

15 John testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’”

16 From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

Christianity is not a religion or a philosophy. It’s a relationship with with the Man Jesus Christ. He left Heaven & all its glory to walk the world, to lift and restore us and give us eternity.
Jesus is eternal, no beginning and no end. Not just a prophet or great teacher. He’s unique. He is the person fully God & fully man.
Revelation 2:5 (NLT)
Look how far you have fallen from your first love! Turn back to me again and work as you did at first.
Loving Jesus is loving His Word! We have the Light, the Life of the world because we have Jesus.
Saviour. Redeemer. Absolute image of an invisible God. He chooses to be interested in your life, to walk with you. He clothed Himself in flesh to redeem you from the devil.
There is One Who has cut a covenant with us, with His own blood, which is stronger than marriage vows.
Stir your heart to your first live, the person of Jesus Christ. He is God. Not just the Son of God, but God.
He was not created. He was God. Jesus declared it of Himself.
John 8:57-58 (NLT)
The people said, “You aren’t even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham?”
Jesus answered, “The truth is, I existed before Abraham was even born!”
John 14:6-7 (NLT)
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had known who I am, then you would have known who my Father is. From now on you know him and have seen him!”
History declares He is the Son of God. The millions of people that have followed Him, martyred for Him, given their lives to tell others about Him. Jesus Christ is God.
But He’s also a man. He was born of a virgin.
Isaiah 7:14 (NLT)
Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel—‘God is with us.’
He became hungry, frustrated & was tested in everyday you and I are. He was moved with compassion. He touched people, and was the friend of sinners. He welcomed children, and spoke with authority and wisdom no one had ever heard before. He called Himself the Son of Man.
I love Him. I love him because He first loved me, and paid a price for my sin. He lifted me up from the miry clay.
Hebrews 2:14-15 (NLT)
Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—Jesus also became flesh and blood by being born in human form. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the Devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he deliver those who have lived all their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.
Jesus died, was buried in a tomb, rose again and was witnessed risen by over 500 people. We are now brothers and sisters, joint heirs with Christ.
This is not religion. This is our relationship with Jesus, as more than conquerors in this life.  There is none like Him. That’s why we sing His praises. He is the Unique One.
